Development of a new logo, corporate identity and key visual for the legendary pop group.

Task

come up with a logo that would pop up in your head every time to the sounds of "I still love you, but it doesn't concern you"

2017, the thirtieth anniversary of the A'Studio group, the release of the new album Powered by music, EXPO-2017 "Energy of the Future" in the homeland of the group — in Kazakhstan. It sounds like a great reason to rebrand.

Logo

At first we thought: "Yeah, a musical group." Then we thought: "Yeah, a musical group from the 90s. CD? No. Cassettes? No. Vinyl! That's what we need!" The logo is saturated with music: smooth lines refer to the patterns on the records, and the letter "d" resembles a half note.

Key visual

The power of the Earth! The Power of Water! The Power of Fire! The power of the Wind! The power of Metal! It was only by putting these elements together that we were able to create a key visual worthy of the A'Studio group.

Energy = Power. Powered by music.

The title of the new album resonated well with the theme of the EXPO-2017 exhibition. The power of music is the energy of the future. This became the basis of the visual image of the band.
